New pain block could cut opioid need after breast surgery
NCT ID NCT07448246
Summary
This study is testing if a specific nerve block, given before surgery, can better control pain and reduce the need for opioid painkillers after breast implant surgery. It will compare two groups of 40 patients: one receiving the nerve block plus standard care, and one receiving standard care alone. The main goal is to see if the block lowers total painkiller use in the first 24 hours after surgery.
