New nerve block tested to cut pain and opioid use after breast augmentation

NCT ID NCT07448246

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific nerve block, given before surgery, can better control pain and reduce the need for opioid painkillers after breast implant surgery. It will compare two groups of 40 patients: one receiving the nerve block and one receiving standard care. The main goal is to see if the block lowers the total amount of opioid medication used in the first day after surgery.
