New study aims to find best pain block for lung surgery patients

Summary

This study will compare two types of nerve blocks to see which one provides better pain relief after video-assisted lung surgery. Sixty adults having planned lung surgery will receive one of the two blocks. The main goal is to measure pain levels and the amount of extra pain medicine needed in the first 24 hours after surgery.
