Summary

This study tested three different nerve blocks to control pain after a type of chest surgery called thoracoscopic sympathectomy. Sixty adults were randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks. The main goal was to see which block delayed the need for morphine the longest. The results help doctors choose the best pain relief method for this surgery.
