First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (RIB and ESPB) to see which one controls pain better after lung cancer surgery. Sixty adults having a thoracotomy will receive one of the blocks, and researchers will measure how much morphine they need in the first 24 hours. The goal is to find the best way to reduce pain, limit opioid use, and help patients recover faster.
