NCT ID NCT06917820
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested two different nerve blocks to manage pain after midshaft clavicle (collarbone) surgery in 50 adults. One block targets the shoulder area, the other the chest wall. Researchers measured how long pain relief lasted and whether one method caused less diaphragm weakness, a common side effect. The goal is to find a safer, effective option for postoperative pain control.
