New pain block may reduce breathing risks after collarbone surgery

Summary
This study tested two different numbing injections for pain after collarbone surgery in 50 adults. One block targets the shoulder area, the other targets the chest wall. The goal was to see which provides longer pain relief and reduces the risk of temporary diaphragm paralysis, a side effect that can affect breathing.
