New study aims to find best pain relief for appendix surgery patients

Summary
This study compares two types of nerve blocks (ESP and TAP) to see which provides better pain relief after open appendix removal. About 68 adults having open appendectomy will receive one of the two blocks. The goal is to reduce the need for morphine and improve recovery quality.
