Summary
This study watches 50 newborns who need a breathing machine to see if different machine settings cause different pain levels. Researchers place small sensors on the baby's foot to measure skin changes as a pain signal. They also test if holding the baby skin-to-skin helps reduce stress. The goal is to find better ways to detect and ease pain in these fragile infants.
