First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of three drugs (panitumumab, carboplatin, and paclitaxel) given before surgery to women with triple-negative breast cancer whose tumors did not respond to standard chemotherapy. The goal was to shrink tumors and reduce the amount of breast tissue that needed to be removed. The study involved 43 participants with early-stage breast cancer that had not spread beyond the breast or nearby lymph nodes.
