Summary
This study looks at whether increasing the pacemaker's lower rate can help people with cardiac amyloidosis feel better and do more in their daily lives. Cardiac amyloidosis makes the heart stiff, so it relies on a steady heart rate to pump blood. Researchers will test two different pacemaker settings in 34 participants to see which one improves quality of life and walking ability.
