Summary
This study looked at whether a nasal spray containing oxytocin, a natural hormone, can help reduce pain and improve daily function in older adults with knee osteoarthritis. Over 4 weeks, 83 participants used either the oxytocin spray or a placebo. The main goal was to measure changes in pain during activities like walking and climbing stairs.
