Summary

This study tests whether giving oxytocin (a natural hormone) through an IV during and after hip replacement surgery helps people recover faster. Researchers will track daily steps for 56 days after surgery in 80 adults. The goal is to see if oxytocin reduces disability and pain compared to a placebo.
