Pressurized oxygen tested to ease Chemo's painful nerve damage

Summary
This study is testing whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy—breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber—can help reduce nerve pain, numbness, and tingling caused by a common breast cancer chemotherapy drug. Researchers will enroll 160 women who have finished chemotherapy and are experiencing these nerve-related side effects. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the oxygen therapy or a comparison treatment to see which better improves symptoms and quality of life.
