Summary
This study looked at how different oxygen level goals and different oximeters (the clip-on devices that measure blood oxygen) affect the amount of oxygen given to patients. Researchers studied 40 adults with COPD or other breathing problems like pneumonia. They wanted to see if the type of oximeter and the target oxygen level change how much oxygen patients need.
