Nighttime oxygen drops after surgery: what nurses do to help
NCT ID NCT07174674
Summary
This study aimed to understand what happens to patients' oxygen levels on the first night after weight loss surgery. Researchers observed 563 patients who received routine oxygen therapy to see how often their oxygen dropped and what actions nurses took to help them. The goal was to identify which patient characteristics might increase the risk of these nighttime breathing issues.
