Scientists search for chemical clues to distinguish diabetes types
NCT ID NCT07434154
Summary
This study aims to understand if there are differences in oxidative stress—a type of cellular damage—between adults with Type 1 diabetes and a similar form called LADA. Researchers will recruit 150 adult patients to provide blood samples during a single visit, measuring various markers of stress and blood sugar control. The goal is to see if these markers can help tell the two conditions apart or indicate disease severity.
