New hope for advanced ovarian cancer: triple-drug combo before surgery plus maintenance therapy
NCT ID NCT05952453
First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a combination of three drugs (carboplatin, paclitaxel, and pembrolizumab) given before surgery to shrink tumors in people with newly diagnosed stage III or IV ovarian cancer. After surgery, participants receive more chemotherapy plus two maintenance drugs (olaparib and pembrolizumab) to help keep the cancer from coming back. The goal is to see if this approach improves how long people live without their cancer progressing.
