Scientists reprogram Patients' own cells to attack tough ovarian cancer

NCT ID NCT05316129

Summary

This is an early-stage safety study testing a new cell therapy for recurrent ovarian cancer. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells (T cells), genetically modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells, and then infuse them back into the patient. The main goal is to find the safest and most effective dose for up to 10 patients whose cancer has come back after standard treatments.
