New pill aims to keep ovarian cancer at bay after initial treatment
NCT ID NCT04169997
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily pill called IMP4297 can help keep ovarian cancer from coming back in patients who have just finished their first round of chemotherapy. The pill is taken as a long-term maintenance treatment after the initial chemo is complete. Researchers are comparing the pill to a placebo (a dummy pill) in over 400 patients to see if it safely extends the time before the cancer progresses.
