New drug combo tested to fight tough ovarian cancer

NCT ID NCT03026062

Summary

This study tested two ways of giving immunotherapy drugs to women with ovarian cancer that had returned or stopped responding to standard chemotherapy. One hundred participants received the drugs either together or one after the other to see which approach was better at controlling the cancer. The goal was to see if these drugs, which help the immune system attack cancer, could slow the disease's progression.
