First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This early-stage trial tests whether adding the drug ipatasertib to standard chemotherapy (paclitaxel and carboplatin) is safe and effective for people with advanced ovarian cancer. About 25 patients with stage III or IV disease will receive the combination before surgery. The goal is to find the best dose and see if the new combo can slow tumor growth better than chemo alone.
