Could starting labor induction at home reduce c-sections?

NCT ID NCT05759988

Summary

This study is testing whether starting the labor induction process at home with a simple catheter device is as safe and effective as starting it in the hospital. Researchers want to see if this approach leads to fewer C-sections and better birth experiences for first-time mothers. The study will involve about 2,300 women who are scheduled to have their labor induced at or after 37 weeks.
