First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether teaching people with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, or glaucoma simple strategies—like using extra lighting, large-print labels, and smartphone apps—can help them manage their medications with fewer errors. About 50 participants will receive a one-hour one-on-one session with an occupational therapist. The goal is to see if these practical tools improve daily medication skills and reduce mistakes.
