New hope for CF patients: 5-Year bone drug trial launches

Summary
This study looks at bone health in up to 100 people with and without cystic fibrosis (CF) using scans and blood tests. A smaller group of CF patients with bone disease will receive the drug denosumab for up to 5 years to see if it improves bone density. The goal is to better understand and manage osteoporosis in CF.
