New drug combo aims to improve lung cancer treatment

Summary

This early-phase study tests a combination of two drugs, osimertinib and tegavivint, as the first treatment for people with a certain type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR-mutant NSCLC that has spread). The main goal is to find the safest dose and see how well the drugs work together. About 24 adults with this specific gene mutation will take part.
