New leg pump may lower clot risk after stroke

Summary
This study tests a device called OsciPulse that uses leg compression to reduce blood clot risk in people hospitalized after a stroke. About 40 adults with leg weakness will either get the OsciPulse or standard compression therapy. Researchers will measure changes in a blood marker (D-dimer) to see if the new device works better.
