Treasure hunt walking tested as fun alternative for heart patients
NCT ID NCT06941597
Summary
This study tested whether orienteering—a form of walking that involves navigating with a map—is as good as standard walking exercises for people in heart rehabilitation. Researchers compared heart rates, physical activity levels, and how much patients enjoyed each activity. The goal was to see if orienteering could be a more engaging way to help patients recover and stay active.
