First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether orienteering (a navigational walk) is as good as regular walking for heart rehab. 40 people with heart disease completed both types of walking sessions. Researchers measured heart rate and how much patients enjoyed each activity. The goal was to see if orienteering could be a fun and effective alternative to standard walking in cardiac rehab.
