Tiny mouth exercises aim to help premature babies thrive

NCT ID NCT07366190

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle mouth exercise program could help very premature babies. Researchers gave half the babies a special oral stimulation therapy twice a day for a week, while the other half received standard care. They wanted to see if the therapy improved the babies' ability to breastfeed, helped them gain weight, and allowed them to go home from the hospital sooner.
