Salt pills may boost fluid loss in heart failure patients

Summary
This study looks at whether giving oral salt tablets along with standard IV diuretics helps hospitalized heart failure patients lose more fluid and protect their kidneys. About 67 adults with fluid overload will be randomly assigned to receive either salt pills or placebo. The main goals are to measure weight loss and changes in kidney function.
