Dentists quizzed on tiny mouth bugs and cell bubbles

NCT ID NCT07374575

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study uses a questionnaire to measure how much Egyptian dentists know about the oral microbiome (the community of tiny organisms in the mouth) and exosomes (tiny particles released by cells). The goal is to see if knowledge differs by specialty, workplace, or experience, and to identify barriers to learning. No treatments or interventions are given—it's purely a survey of 500 licensed dentists.
