Dentists quizzed on tiny mouth bugs and cell bubbles

NCT ID NCT07374575

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study uses a questionnaire to measure what Egyptian dentists know about the oral microbiome (the community of tiny organisms in the mouth) and exosomes (tiny particles released by cells). Researchers will survey 500 licensed dentists to see how knowledge differs by specialty, workplace, and experience. The goal is to identify gaps and barriers, not to test any treatment.
