First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study explores whether adding intentional interviews to expressive arts activities helps middle-aged and older adults (40+) learn and practice better oral health habits. 90 participants will be split into three groups: interviews plus art, art only, or a control group. Researchers will measure changes in sarcopenia risk, swallowing ability, grit, oral health knowledge, and self-care behaviors one week and one month after education.
