First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study explores whether adding intentional interviews to expressive arts activities helps middle-aged and older adults learn and practice better oral health habits. About 90 participants aged 40 and older will be randomly placed into one of three groups: interviews plus art, art only, or a control group. Researchers will measure changes in oral health knowledge, self-care behaviors, and related risks like swallowing difficulties and muscle weakness.
