Summary
This study tested whether a smartphone-based attention training program can reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Over 1,300 adults with significant PTSD symptoms participated entirely from home, completing 14 sessions over two weeks. The goal was to see if training the brain to pay less attention to threats could ease PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
