This study looked at 44 postmenopausal women and men over 50 with osteoporosis who had been on denosumab for at least three years. Researchers tested whether switching to alendronate or zoledronate could prevent bone mineral density loss. The goal is to find the best way to maintain bone health after stopping long-term denosumab treatment.
