First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This pilot study looks at how long people with a blood clot in the heart (left ventricular thrombus) should take blood thinners. About 120 participants who have already been on blood thinners for at least 3 months will be randomly assigned to either stop or continue the medication. The goal is to see which approach works best and to gather information for a larger future study.
