First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares different catheter ablation strategies in 300 adults aged 18-80 who have both persistent atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) and heart failure. The goal is to see which approach best reduces the risk of death, hospitalization, or urgent care due to worsening heart failure. Participants are followed after a single ablation procedure to track heart rhythm and overall outcomes.
