First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a small device that attaches to a shoe to measure walking patterns in healthy adults aged 65 and older. Twenty participants will walk on a mat and climb stairs while wearing the device, so researchers can see if it accurately tracks speed, step length, and height. The goal is to refine the device for future use in monitoring mobility and fall risk.
