First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looked at 154 men having robot-assisted prostate removal. Researchers compared giving a combination of acetaminophen and ibuprofen either before surgery started or right after. The goal was to see if earlier dosing could lower the amount of strong opioid painkillers needed in the first 24 hours. The study is complete and results will show which timing works better for pain control.
