First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests a smartphone-based game designed to improve opioid safety knowledge and attitudes among adolescents (ages 12-18) and their parents after an emergency department visit. About 244 parent-teen pairs will play the game and complete surveys over 9 months. The goal is to see if the game helps prevent opioid misuse better than standard counseling alone.
