Summary
This study looks at how to better connect people in the court system with medication for opioid use disorder. Researchers will test strategies to help courts quickly screen and link defendants to treatment. The goal is to reduce overdose deaths, drug use, and repeat offenses. Over 3,400 court staff and treatment providers will take part.
