Summary
This study looks at how to better connect people in the court system with medication for opioid use disorder. Researchers will test strategies to help courts quickly screen and link defendants to treatment, with the goal of reducing overdose, addiction, and repeat arrests. About 3,440 court staff and treatment providers will participate across New York State.
