NCT ID NCT07513389

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether certain patients with HPV-related throat cancer can safely skip radiation after surgery. Participants will have their tumor removed and then be monitored with a blood test that detects cancer DNA. If the blood test stays negative, they avoid radiation and its side effects. The goal is to see if this approach keeps cancer from coming back while improving quality of life.
