Summary

This study tested an internet-based skills training program for adults in Hong Kong who drink alcohol and experience psychological distress. The program, based on a therapy approach called dialectical behaviour therapy, aimed to help participants reduce their alcohol consumption and improve their emotional regulation. Researchers enrolled 86 participants to see if the program was feasible, acceptable, and showed preliminary signs of being helpful.
