First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests an online parenting program called Family Check-Up Online, adapted for Latinx families, to help prevent substance use in youth aged 11-14. Researchers will enroll 108 Latinx families and compare a culturally adapted version, a Spanish-only version, and a waitlist group. The goal is to see if the program improves parenting skills and reduces kids' risk of using drugs or alcohol.
