Can a virtual coach help older cancer survivors regain strength?
NCT ID NCT06016725
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week online program of nutrition counseling and resistance training could help older adults who have completed cancer treatment. Researchers worked with 75 participants aged 65+ who had finished treatment for early-stage breast, colorectal, or prostate cancer but still experienced some physical limitations. The goal was to see if virtual guidance from dietitians and exercise experts could improve diet quality, strength, and overall physical function.
