Summary

This study tested a brief, self-guided internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) program designed for university students, researchers, and staff. The program includes four weekly modules to help manage stress and anxiety. Researchers enrolled 35 participants to see if the program is feasible, acceptable, and safe, and to measure changes in emotional well-being. The goal is to provide a scalable mental health support tool for academic settings.

Active substance
internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) program
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, scalable online tool to help students and researchers manage stress and improve emotional well-being.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early feasibility study with only 35 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The program is self-guided, so some people may not complete it or find it helpful.
