First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding omeprazole (a common heartburn medicine) to standard chemotherapy can help shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to other treatments. About 50 men will receive either cabazitaxel or docetaxel along with omeprazole. The goal is to see if this combination improves response and delays cancer progression.
